Two major initiatives will be launched to stop child abductors and bring missing and kidnapped children home. First, the Utah Attorney General’s Office will start the first statewide Child Abduction Response Team (CART). This multi-agency team will provide immediate expertise and resources whenever a child is abducted or is missing under suspicious circumstances. Second, a new and startling public service announcement will be unveiled that shows the deadly stakes involved in a child kidnapping and how the public can help by responding to AMBER Alerts. |
