Internship Opportunities
There are often internship opportunities in the Attorney General's Office. If you are seeking an internship or summer externship we are happy to help you find a place in our office. We offer many unpaid internships for law students, college students and even high school students.
There are two types of internships within our office:
- Law related internships (typically law students)
- Political/Social Program internships (typically Political Science Majors or those interested in Social Work)
During the Fall of each year we begin the process of selecting our coveted Legislative Interns. These are typically the best of the best selected from local Universities and Colleges who will join us during the legislative session. If you feel you are up for a challenge and are interested in seeing the legislative process in action be sure to indicate that you are interested in being considered for our Legislative Internships.
Please send an email with a cover letter, resumé and any supporting documentation you feel is necessary. Don't forget to tell us what type of internship you are applying for and what you hope to accomplish with an internship in our office. We look forward to working with you soon.
Clerkship Opportunities
Several divisions within our office offer clerkships. If you are interested in applying for a clerkship please send an email with a cover letter, resumé and a transcript to Assistant Attorney General Scott Cheney
