Commercial Enforcement Division
The attorneys of this division represent most of the divisions of the Department of Commerce, including
- Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing
- Division of Consumer Protection
- Division of Real Estate (which licenses real estate agents, brokers and appraisers)
- Division of Securities (which licenses the stock brokers profession in the state)
- Division of Corporations
In addition, the Commercial Enforcement Division of the Attorney General's Office enforces the
antitrust laws of the state and participates in multi-state antitrust enforcement. Finally, the
Commercial Enforcement Division prosecutes securities fraud, consumer fraud, and other
white-collar fraud cases, both civil and criminal.
