Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is one of the country's most common crimes, and Utah is no exception. Both men and women can be victimized by a partner. In Utah, one in five women relate that their children witness or hear verbal abuse, while one in fourteen report their children witness or hear physical abuse.

The Utah Attorney General's Office created the state's first non-profit visitation and exchange center for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and their children. The All-R-Kids Center provides monitored exchanges where the visiting parent is carefully supervised and guidelines are in place to ensure there is no contact between parents. The center was made possible by grants from the U.S. Department of Justice/Office on Violence Against Women. For more information visit the South Valley Santuary Web site. or see the press release.
Applications for New Visitation Center
The Attorney General's Office is currently accepting applications from local non-profits to be a new Safe Havens partner. The successful applicant will receive up to $269,500.00 to implement a new All-R-Kids Center in Weber, Davis or Morgan County. Click here to get a copy of the cover sheet, application and budget.
