31 Additional Charges Against Victor Manuel Rax
Victims of Dangerous International Criminal in Utah are Urged to Speak Out
March 10, 2014 – Attorney General Sean D. Reyes and Assistant Attorney General Gregory Ferbrache filed an Amended Information brief today in the Third District Court in and for the Salt Lake County, Salt Lake Division, State of Utah detailing 31 new charges against Victor Manuel Rax (D.O.B. 1-1-1972). Rax was arrested by the AG’s SECURE Strike Force investigation team with interagency support on Feb. 11, 2014. Until today, Rax was held on three drug distribution counts. Charges filed detail all 34 counts including the original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute in an Enhanced Drug Free Zone. New charges include Pattern of Unlawful Activity, Aggravated Human Trafficking for Force Labor Involving a Child, two counts Aggravated Sex Abuse of a Child, four counts Forcible Sodomy on a Child, eight counts Forcible Sodomy, ten counts Endangerment of a Child, four counts Forcible Sex Abuse and Object Rape.
