Keenan Price is an Assistant Attorney General in the Highways and Utilities Division, where he serves as counsel for the Department of Public Safety. His practice areas focus on administrative and criminal law as well as contracts and access to government records. Keenan’s cases have focused on keeping Utahns safe as they span public safety issues, ranging from decertifying police officers, regulating Emergency Medical Services training centers, denial of concealed firearm carry permits, and grants of expungement.
Before joining the Office of the Utah Attorney, Keenan was a judicial law clerk for Judges DiReda, Edwards, and Valencia in the Utah Second District Court, and worked in the Attorney’s Office for the City of West Jordan. Keenan earned his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Utah and earned his Juris Doctorate at Mitchell Hamline.
Outside the office he volunteers on the community council at his children’s school and enjoys golf, trivia and documentaries.
