Mollie McDonald is an Assistant Attorney General in the Environment, Health, and Human Services Division of the Office of the Utah Attorney General.
She provides general counsel to Correctional Health Services and Juvenile Justice and Youth Services. Her practice focuses on the constitutional rights of incarcerated individuals, compliance with National Commission on Correctional Health Care standards, responding to inmate grievances and records requests, and representing her clients in litigation.
McDonald earned her J.D. from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1999. She completed a clerkship with Questar Corporation and served on the Utah Guardian ad Litem Oversight Committee from 2017 to 2026. She is a member of the Utah State Bar.
