Peishen Zhou is an Assistant Attorney General, representing the Utah Division of Consumer Protection and the State in consumer protection enforcement actions and multistate investigation and enforcement matters. His practice encompasses a broad range of consumer protection areas, including charities, automotive, consumer finance, and post-judgment enforcement.
Mr. Zhou has presented as a panelist on judgment collection strategies at the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) Western Regional Consumer Protection Conference. Mr. Zhou also plays an active role in multistate coordination, working alongside attorneys general and federal partners from across the country on joint investigations and enforcement initiatives. In the first quarter of 2026, Mr. Zhou was named Attorney of the Quarter by the Office of the Utah Attorney General in recognition of his contributions to the Office and the State.
Before joining the Office, Mr. Zhou earned his J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he received a CALI Award in Current Issues in Securities Law. Before attending law school, Mr. Zhou earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy, from the University of Washington, Seattle.
In his free time, Peishen enjoys visiting national parks and skiing.
