Effective 12/31/23 the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, found at Utah Code §§ 13-61-101, et seq., provides consumers with various rights which will enable them to better protect the personal data that they provide to a company. It also requires companies to implement data security practices to protect the confidentiality and integrity of consumers’ personal data.
