The Utah Attorney General’s Office recognizes the National Day of Israel, commemorating the 1948 Israeli Declaration of Independence.
This week, Congress passed a resolution to honor the U.S.-Israeli relationship and expressed support for expanding and strengthening the Abraham Accords.
In a statement, Attorney General Reyes thanked Congress for its support of strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship and celebrating 75 years of shared history as allies and friends.
“We are tied by more than just economic, cultural and security interests with Israel,” Attorney General Reyes said. “We share a spiritual bond with them. May God continue to bless both our nations.”
