DENVER March 8, 2016 – On Monday, Utah Solicitor General Tyler Green presented arguments in Planned Parenthood v Herbert to a panel of Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals judges. The arguments centered around whether a State’s chief executive, in this case Utah Governor Gary Herbert, has the right to exercise his executive discretion to cancel a State’s at-will contracts with a government contractor.
The arguments were held before a Tenth Circuit panel of judges comprised of Judges Mary Beck Briscoe, David M. Ebel and Robert E. Bacharach. Utah’s brief can be found below.
