What is Utah@EASE?  

Utah@EASE is a legal referral program designed to support Utah’s active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and members of the National Guard and Reserve. Led by the Office of the Utah Attorney General in conjunction with the Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs and the Utah State Bar, the program connects qualifying individuals with volunteer attorneys for civil legal matters. 

This public-private partnership ensures that those who have served, and continue to serve, can access trusted legal support when they need it most. 

 

Who Is eligible? 

This program serves: 

  • Active-duty servicemembers 
  • Veterans and retirees with Honorable or General discharges 
  • Guard and Reserve members, whether currently serving or separated

How Utah@EASE works 

  • Request a referral through the program portal or partner agency 
  • Eligibility is verified, and your case is reviewed for referral 
  • A volunteer attorney is matched to provide legal guidance or representation, free of charge
