Tip Lines and Hotlines

File a report

One of Utah Attorney General Derek Brown’s top priorities is to keep Utahns, especially children, safe from violent crimes, domestic abuse, and predatory crimes. Below are tip lines concerned residents may use to file reports or to reach resources.

If you do not see the phone number or email address to file your report, please reach out to our Constituents Services team at uag@agutah.gov and they will assist you. In case of emergencies, please contact local law enforcement.

To file a criminal complaint with our office, please email aginvestcomplaints@agutah.gov or call the Investigations Division at (801)281-1200. This complaint must include: the name, phone number, and email address of the requesting party, a summary of the complaint, and any supporting documentation the requesting party would like to be considered during the complaint review process.
