Marie W.L. Martin is the Division Director of the Antitrust & Data Privacy Division. She has worked for the Office of the Utah Attorney General since 2022, primarily in antitrust enforcement, and since 2025, doing both antitrust and data privacy work. She previously served the Office of the Nevada Attorney General representing consumers in antitrust, consumer protection, and utility matters. In addition to state enforcement, Marie spent over fifteen years in private practice assisting businesses with intellectual property litigation and transactional matters, and in representing clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has represented clients and the state at all levels of investigation and litigation, including trials and appeals. She is the Vice Chair of the National Association of Attorneys General Antitrust Task Force, serves on the American Bar Association State Enforcement Committee, and regularly gives CLE presentations for both organizations.
