Curt Trickett is an Assistant Attorney General in the Child & Family Support Division. Curt earned his J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2017, where he was a CALI Award recipient in Criminal Law, Business Organizations, and Gambling & Gaming Law, and an Outstanding Academic Achievement recipient in Constitutional Law. He served as a Senior Staff Member on the Utah Law Review, a Research Assistant to Professor Baughman, and a Legal Methods Teaching Assistant. He earned his B.A. in History from Weber State University in 2014, where he received a research grant for his senior thesis, “Watakatifu: A Study of the LDS Swahili Branch,” and competed as a student athlete on the Cross Country and Track programs.
Curt clerked for the Utah State Courts, Third District, for the Honorable Laura Scott and the Honorable Sandra Peuler. He is admitted to the Utah State Bar.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, and competitive tabletop games.
