Jason Dupree is an Assistant Attorney General in Constitutional Defense and Special Litigation. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2016, where he served as Online Content Editor for the American Criminal Law Review and won Best Brief at both the William E. Leahy Moot Court Competition and the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2013.
Following law school, Jason clerked for the Honorable Katherine Leonard of the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals from 2016 to 2017, the Honorable Halil Ozerden of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi from 2017 to 2018, and the Honorable Gonzalo Curiel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California from 2018 to 2019.
