Joseph T. Adams is an Assistant Attorney General with the Litigation Division, where he serves in the Employment Section. Joseph’s practice focuses on defending state agencies in all manners of employment related suits including Title VII, Title IX, and Section 1983 litigation, as well as administrative and statutory claims and enforcement matters.
Before joining the Office of the Utah Attorney General Joseph worked as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the District of Utah and as a Chief Human Resources Officer in the private sector. Joseph earned his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah and his J.D. from Marquette University Law School. While at Marquette Joseph helped found the Law School’s Employment Law Student Association.
Outside the office, Joseph enjoys golf, fly fishing, hiking, and all manner of other outdoor activities.
