Paula Faerber is a Section Director in the Commercial Enforcement Division. In this role, she represents the Divisions of Securities and Real Estate in administrative proceedings and civil matters and provides legal advice to both divisions. Paula works with a team of attorneys and support staff.
Before returning to this division, Paula spent a few years in the Natural Resources Division, supporting Oil, Gas and Mining, the Office of Energy Development and the Utah Lake Authority. Her work at Natural Resources included assisting boards, reviewing contracts, giving day‑to‑day legal guidance, and supervising attorneys and paralegals.
Paula started her career doing securities work—both in private practice and as a corporate finance examiner for the Utah Division of Securities. Paula has a J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations from the University of Utah.
