Stacey Cornaby is a paralegal for consumer protection, within the Commercial Enforcement Division of the Office of the Utah Attorney General, focusing on administrative law and civil litigation. Ms. Cornaby works with a team of consumer protection attorneys dedicated to safeguarding the public from deceptive, unfair, and fraudulent business practices. Combining a diverse legal background with sharp analytical capabilities, Ms. Cornaby utilizes her knowledge in e-discovery, legal research, and legal writing to serve as a versatile asset to her Division. Ms. Cornaby assists her attorneys with organizing exhibits, reviewing evidence, drafting and reviewing documents before filing, e-filing documents in District Court and State Court, and other legal support tasks.
Before joining the Office, Ms. Cornaby worked at the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s office in the Major Crimes team and Juvenile Criminal team. Ms. Cornaby brings over ten years of dedicated paralegal experience to her role, backed by an Associate Degree in Legal Studies from Utah Valley University. Her career has provided, hands-on expertise gained from working directly with attorneys across criminal, administrative, and civil litigation matters.
