Assistant Attorney General

Commercial Enforcement

Steven Green is an Assistant Attorney General in the Commercial Enforcement Division of the Office of the Utah Attorney General. He graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007 before returning to his home state of Utah. In 2008, he began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office, where he handled a wide range of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to violent felonies.

In 2020, Steven joined the Office of the Utah Attorney General, where he continued working as a criminal prosecutor in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. In 2023, he transitioned to the Commercial Enforcement Division, where he has represented the Division of Real Estate and the Division of Professional Licensing. His work focuses on administrative enforcement matters involving professional licensing.

Steven is committed to fair and consistent enforcement that protects the public while respecting the rights of licensees.
